Shelters
The Icelandic Red Cross operates seven shelters for people with mental disorders. These shelters serve as refuge for those who suffer from mental disabilities; here they can have a warm meal and participate in various activities. The aim of these shelters is to reduce the social isolation that people with mental disorders frequently endures.
