Do you want to learn more Icelandic?
Do you want to speak more icelandic? or ,,Viltu tala meiri íslensku?“ is a project of the Kópavogur branch of the Icelandic Red cross where Icelandic speaking volunteers and people of all nationalities in Iceland come together to speak and practice Icelandic. The aim is to give people the opportunity to improve their Icelandic skills, practice speaking the language and add to their vocabulary. There is no formal teaching and some basic knowledge in Icelandic is required to be able to participate in conversations. The weekly meetings are informal and participants decide together the theme of each session. The sessions can be very diverse including meetings in a café, watching Icelandic films and discuss, reading icelandic newspapers or general sessions
