Námskeiðið er ætlað öllum, 14 ára eða eldri sem vilja læra skyndihjálp og endurlífgun og öðlast öryggi, færni og þekkingu í að veita nærstöddum aðstoð í bráðatilfellum með því að beita á öruggan hátt einföldum aðferðum í skyndihjálp.
The Red Cross is holding a 12-hour first aid course in English on May 20th-21st 2023 between 12:00-18:00 on both days. The course is for everyone aged 14 years or older who want to learn first aid and resuscitation. The goal is that participants will gain confidence, capability and knowledge in giving first aid to others in cases of emergency by safely using simple first aid techniques.
Location: Strandgata 24, 220 Hafnarfjörður, 2nd floor.
The course can be used for credits in most high schools, for additional driving licenses and more. To be safe, we recommend getting confirmation in advance that the course is valid for those who need to complete first aid courses as part of professional qualifications or education.
Food is not included on the course so we urge participants to bring their own.
Please note that a sufficient number of participants is necessary for the course to be held.
Please note that the price is not refunded if cancellation is received less than 3 days before the course starts, without a doctor's certificate.
