Rauði krossinn og Sprettur bjóða sjálfboðaliðum taka þátt í vinnusmiðju og fræðast um lærdómsríka fjölmenningarlega leiðsögn (Intercultural mentoring) til að styðja fjölskyldur og ungu fólki með erlendan bakgrunn. Lærdómsrík fjölmenningarleg leiðsögn er hæfni til að skapa og koma með tækifæri til að veita stuðning við nám, lærdómsferli og gagnkvæm aðlögun á Íslandi. Fræðslan er opin öllum sjálfboðaliða óháð verkefni, en nýtist sjálfboðaliðum sem starfa í verkefnum með flóttafólki og umsækjendum um alþjóðlega vernd sérstaklega.
The Red Cross and Sprettur invite volunteers to join the workshop and learn about intercultural mentoring to support families and young people from foreign backgrounds. Intercultural mentoring is the ability to create and provide opportunities for academic support, learning processes, and mutual adaptation in Iceland. The workshop is open to all volunteers, regardless of their project involvement, but is particularly beneficial for those working with refugees and asylum seekers.
