Lifeguard course, remote course for lifeguards at swimming and bathing facilities. The course is part of the Laugarvörður basic course + performance skill assessment.
The course is taught remotly through Teams, so participants can take the course from home.
Important before starting the course, participants need to:
• have Teams for work or school installed. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/download-app
• be at a computer with an internet connection
• participate both days to get the course evaluated
It is recommended that participants participate in discussions and have the camera on during the course.
The courses are taught on May 13 and 14, from 16.15 to 19.15, participants must participate both days.
People are encouraged to have a prepared snack and drink during the course.
Note that a prerequisite for the course is that there is sufficient participation.
The participation fee is not refunded if the course is shorter than three days and a medical certificate is not available. After the course has started, the participation fee is not refunded.
