Continuing education for those who have previously completed a basic course in Safety and rescue for lifeguards, swimming instructors and swimming coaches at swimming and bathing facilities.
Continuing education for those who have previously completed the Basic Course in Water Safety and Rescue for lifeguards, swimming instructors and swimming coaches at swimming and bathing facilities.
The course is intended for individuals who plan to continue working at swimming and bathing facilities that the public has access to.
The aim of the continuing education course is to provide participants who have a valid certificate in Water Safety and Rescue, the opportunity to review the main subjects of Water Safety and Rescue with an emphasis on practical skills and case exercises.
A skill assessment according to Annex III of the regulations on hygiene in swimming and bathing facilities takes place during the course.

In order to receive a certificate in Water Safety and Rescue, participants must attend the entire course and demonstrate active participation in all aspects of the course:
-Discussions and questions.
-Practical exercises and case exercises.
-Pass the skill assessment
Lifeguards are issued the following certificate: Lifeguard, which is valid for one year.
To maintain your rights, you must attend a continuing education course and pass a skill assessment before your certificate expires. A 30-day grace period is given on either side of the day the certificate expires.
ATTENTION!! Participants must bring a swimsuit with them, along with a long-sleeved shirt and pants.
Participants are encouraged to bring an energy-rich lunch and a water bottle.
