This course is an introduction to the disaster services of the Icelandic Red Cross and it's projects. It covers the opening and operating of mass help centres, the Red Cross's role in the Civil Defence and the disaster equipment of the Red Cross.
The Course "Introduction to Disaster Services" will be held Wednesday, the 25th of September, 2024 via Microsoft Teams telecommunications. The course is open for every Red Cross volunteer.
The course begins at 17:30 and ends at 20:30. Participants need to have access to a computer, camera and a microphone. This course is free of charge.
