Displacement, conflict, and trauma shape not only individual lives but entire communities. This event offers a space to deepen our understanding of these experiences and to reflect on how we can better support people living with the impacts of war and forced migration.

What to expect:

Explore the impact of trauma, conflict, and displacement on mental health and daily life

Gain insight into the lived experiences and cultural context of displaced Palestinians

Learn how individuals and communities demonstrate resilience even amid ongoing crisis

A special focus will be on the Palestinian experience. Our speakers, Palestinian psychologists Dr. Fathy Dar Youssef and Despina Costandinides, will share not only from their professional expertise but also from their personal lived experiences.

This event is intended for those working to support displaced people from Palestine and other high-conflict areas—such as health professionals, educators, social workers, humanitarian workers, and others in related fields. It is not designed for displaced people themselves.
